Truck Export Quotes: What to Include in Your Enquiry
Prepare a comparable truck quotation with the model, working requirements, vehicle condition, destination and delivery scope.

Describe the vehicle and the job
State the vehicle type, preferred brand or model, axle layout, steering position and quantity. Describe the load, route and required body or trailer. If the model is not decided, explain the work instead of guessing a specification. For a used vehicle, include your condition requirements and any year or inspection criteria that your local adviser has confirmed.
Separate destination from quotation scope
Provide the destination country, arrival port if known and final delivery location. Ask whether the quotation covers the vehicle only or also preparation, inland transport, sea freight, insurance or documents. Request the agreed delivery term and named place. A price without its scope cannot be compared fairly with a price that includes shipping or additional work.
Ask for an itemised, current offer
Request a vehicle reference, specification, condition description, price currency, quotation validity and estimated preparation time. Ask which items are optional and which costs remain for you to arrange at destination. Identify missing information before comparing offers. Availability and shipping estimates should be reconfirmed when you are ready to proceed; an earlier enquiry does not reserve a vehicle.
A short enquiry you can adapt
Example: 'We need two 6×4 dump trucks for sand and aggregate transport. Please quote the available HOWO options, with the offered body dimensions, engine and transmission, steering position and condition. Destination country: [country]. Arrival port: [port or to be confirmed]. Please state what the price includes, its validity and estimated preparation time.' Add your email or phone number if you want a reply. Do not include information you have not yet confirmed as if it were settled.
